
‘The One For the Road Bar’
A concept conceived by the guys in Honey and Buzz to support the massive Heineken 0.0 “Now you can” TTL campaign.
Rob collaborated with Honey & Buzz to design the bar and accompanying garden space.
As the bar was going to pop up in places of natural beauty it was important it had a strong profile that would contrast against and somehow frame the scenic views at the same time.
The arch of the 0 was used to form the shape of the structure, the rear wall was left open to frame the scenic views, then traditional Irish pub details, windows, doors were used to accent it and make the space feel familiar and inviting. The bar has been used for generating content across multiple platforms in addition to popping up at various high footfall events since its creation.
Heineken have been pioneers in establishing the category of NoLo alcoholic beverages, Heineken 0.0 now accounts for 7% of their sales.
