Building on Success

The Irish Whiskey Museum had achieved great success since its opening in 2014. A really engaging experience led by well trained, knowledgable staff, a very strong story line and a great incentive program were the foundation of this success. Tourists coming to Dublin were targeted and captured by compelling reviews and were not disappointed when they got there.

The Museum however was due an upgrade to keep it fresh and engaging. And although they have an enviable location, right on the corner of college green, local’s were largely unaware of its existence.

In collaboration with Nineyards Rob created a new visual identity for the brand, reimagined the entrance way and brought the experience down to the street level to make it more attractive for walk-ins and the local market.

The rooms throughout were upgraded to allow more people to be immersed in the experience as opposed to being mere observers. More physical elements and props to support the story that had developed since opening were added. Audio visual upgrades came in the form of better hardware and more refined content. All together working towards a more cohesive storyline and immersive experience.

This project was a huge team effort led by Nineyards which took some patience to plow through in the face of recent worldly events. But I am now happy to say it is finally open!

I highly recommend anyone who has never been in to do so and do the tour. You will meet great people, learn something new and enjoy great whiskey, even if you think you know and have had everything.

Sláinte!
